Major General A K M Muzahid Uddin, ndu, afwc, psc, was commissioned in the Corps of Artillery on 23 December 1979. In his long service career, beside the regimental appointments, he served as Aide-de-Camp (ADC) to the Chief of Army Staff (CAS), 'Brigade Major' of an Infantry Brigade, General Staff Officer - 1(Military Operations Directorate) at Army Headquarters(AHQ) and Colonel Staff at an Infantry Division Headquarters.
His instructional appointments include serving as Platoon Commander in Bangladesh Military Academy (BMA) and Directing Staff (DS) of Armed Forces War Course (AFWC) at National Defence College (NDC), Bangladesh.
He commanded two Artillery Regiments and Artillery Brigade in Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT). He was the Raising Commander of an Infantry Brigade and finally commanded Composite Brigade. He was the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of an Infantry Division. Before his current assignment at NDC he was the 'Adjutant General' at AHQ.
He attended a number of courses at home and abroad. He is a graduate of Defence Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC), Mirpur, Bangladesh and completed his AFWC from National Defence College, Bangladesh. He is also a graduate of National Defence University, China.
