Course Closing Ceremony of Capstone Course 2026/1
Capstone Course 2026/1 was conducted at National Defence College (NDC), Mirpur Cantonment, Bangladesh from 05 April to 23 April 2026. Total 45 fellows including parliamentarians, bureaucrats, senior military and civil officers of government and non-government organizations, eminent academia, consul/diplomat, doctors, journalists and corporate leaders participated in the course. Closing ceremony of Capstone Course 2026/1 was held at NDC on Thursday, 23 April 2026. General Waker-Uz-Zaman, SBP, OSP, SGP, psc, Chief of Army Staff (CAS), Bangladesh Army graced the ceremony as the chief guest and distributed certificates among the Fellows.

National Defence College (NDC), Bangladesh celebrated the Independence Day of the State of Kuwait on Monday, 13 April 2026. Course member of the State of Kuwait attending National Defence Course-2026 Colonel Meshari A J M A Alhouti and Colonel Mohammed S M S S Alfadhala presented their country to the other course members. Rear Admiral Mir Ershad Ali, OSP, NPP, BCGM, ndc, psc, MPhil, Senior Directing Staff (Navy), NDC graced the occasion as the chief guest.
NDC Friendly Volleyball Match 2026
National Defence College (NDC) Friendly Volleyball Match 2026 was held on Thursday, 02 April 2026 at NDC Ground, Mirpur Cantonment. Course members of the National Defence Course (ND Course)-2026 and Armed Forces War Course (AFWC)-2026 enthusiastically participated in the match. The event was attended by respected faculty members, staff officers and course members of ND Course-2026 and AFWC-2026 alongwith their spouses. Lieutenant General Md Faizur Rahman, BSP, SGP, ndc, afwc, psc, Commandant, NDC inaugurated the match as the chief guest and distributed trophies and medals among the champion and runner-up teams.

NDC Cup Golf Tournament- 2026 was held at Kurmitola Golf Club (KGC), Dhaka Cantonment on Saturday, 07 February 2026. Respected faculty members, staff officers, course members of ND Course-2026, AFWC-2026, their spouses and children participated in the tournament. Commandant, National Defence College (NDC), Bangladesh inaugurated the tournament as the chief guest and distributed prizes among the winners.
Inauguration Ceremony of AFWC Wing
The Inauguration Ceremony of the Armed Forces War Course (AFWC) Wing at Dhaka Cantonment was held on Monday, 02 February 2026. The wing was jointly inaugurated by the respected Chief of Army Staff (CAS), respected Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) and the respected Chief of Air Staff (COAS). Senior officials of Bangladesh Armed Forces and civil services including Principal Staff Officer (PSO), Armed Forces Division, Quarter Master General (QMG), Bangladesh Army were present at the ceremony.

Opening Ceremony of Armed Forces War Course (AFWC)-2026 was held at National Defence College (NDC) Auditorium on Sunday, 01 February 2026. Lieutenant General Mohammad Shaheenul Haque, OSP, BSP, ndc, hdmc, psc, Commandant, NDC delivered his opening address to the course members of AFWC- 2026.
